How we collect information from you and what we use it for?
There are three different ways in which we collect information from you.
The first is very general and not related to personal information. Through cookies and tracking, we can tell how many users visit each part of our site and what features are used. In the future, we will also collect information on how many of our users are using a certain screen resolution or what kind of browser they are using. Using that information, we can change and modify our site to better meet your needs.
The second way we gather information is through the registration process. This is personal information you provide to us by filling out the registration form.
We collect information during registration for three reasons:
Using your information, we can send you e-mail messages that will matter to you. Please note that we never give your e-mail address to anyone without your consent. We may, however, send information on behalf of our partners to you. We may receive finder or referral fees from some services provided.
Information, like your employment situation, helps us to make sure we are creating the best possible site for you! To help us to market to our partners (who provide us with the funds to keep this great Web site going) we need to provide them with statistics. Information, like the percentage of people registered on our Web sites that are interested in a particular banking product, is important to them when they are deciding to buy advertising on our pages.
The third way we gather information is through the various tools we use, such as an advanced search, polls and quizzes. Currently, we keep track of how many people have used these services. We may, in the future, contact you, if you have given us consent to do so, regarding the results of those searches and polls.
Who can see your personal information
If you register on one of our Web sites, you provide us with personal information. Only you and qualified Nick Noorani Business Group Corp. employees may view that personal information. There is an exception to that rule. While we will make every effort to make sure your personal information remains private, we may be compelled by law to reveal your personal information if we are required to by a subpoena, court order, or legal process.
Your control over your personal information in our database
After registering on our Web sites, you have full access to and control of the information you provided. At any time, you can access this information through the “My Account” section. If, at any time, you wish to remove your information from our database, you may do so by contacting our privacy officer.
The accuracy of the information you provide
The information you provide should be kept as up-to-date as possible. If the information you supplied to us has changed, we invite you to update it at any time by emailing email@example.com
Communication with Nick Noorani Business Group Corp.
If during the registration process you agree to being part of our network, we may send you e-mail messages, which will include the Immigrant Networks Newsletter, messages from our partners and our own user surveys and announcements. We may track who opens or replies to these messages. If you change your mind about communicating with us through e-mail, you may do so by replying to the message we sent you with the subject line “UNSUBSCRIBE” or by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email message.
PLEASE NOTE: If one of our partners wants to send a message to the people registered in our database who have opted in, we send that message on their behalf. We never give them any of your personal information. The only information the partner might receive would be statistics built from our database (for example, the number of immigrants who are coming to Canada to live in Toronto).
What are cookies and how do we use them?
A “cookie” is a small piece of information that a Web site can store on your computer through your browser (such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox). When registering for and using our Web site, we and/or advertisers on our Web site will send cookies to your computer. The information stored in our cookies is used to provide you with customized information. This data will not be used in any other way and will be kept in our secure databases.
